Welcome to the Adders Class
Your teacher is Mr Williamson
Did you know?
Mr Williamson loves running
Whether he's out for an early‑morning jog, training for a race, or pushing himself to beat a personal best, running helps him stay focused, motivated and ready for any challenge. He brings that same energy into the classroom — always encouraging pupils to keep going, try their best, and feel proud of every step they take.
Year 6 is an inspiring and exciting place where pupils grow into confident, responsible and independent learners.
It’s a year filled with teamwork, discovery and memorable moments, as children take on new challenges and prepare for the next stage of their education.
The classroom is a supportive, welcoming environment where everyone is encouraged to shine, try their best and celebrate their achievements. With engaging lessons, purposeful projects and plenty of opportunities to lead and succeed, Year 6 is a fantastic final year at Wisewood.

We are very committed to building strong home / school links. We know that education is the most effective when there is a positive partnership between home and school.
In Adders Class:
- Children are encouraged to read at home every night.
- This reading may be texts (both fiction and non-fiction) and/or newspapers.
- We ask that adults at home question them about their reading to check understanding on at least three occasions weekly and support children with the development of their vocabulary.
- Spelling and maths activities will be set every week. Parents can request a hard copy of this learning from the child’s class teacher.
- We ask that parents/carers encourage their children to work as independently as possible on the activities provided.
Useful equipment to have at home:
- Pens
- Pencils
- Ruler
- Colouring Pencils
- Dictionary
